Arghh... wrong Topic :

IGNORE Quotes from previous Emails whould be better ;)


Hi guys,
i'm trying to find some phrases in mailitem.Body.
My Problem is that i only wan't to search in the
current (new Composed) Body and leave out any previous
Emailquotes.In any EMail Format of cause.

Is there anyway except parse the whole Text for "RE:" or "AW:" ?

I already tried "mailitem.ClearConversationIndex" but it
seams to do nothing (i guess is for a Thread-Like View in Outlook)

Any ideas anyone ?

Example : (if i search for "OLD" it should ignore the Text from the Previous Email)

Hi Ingo,

The Body property of the MailItem object returns the entire text and therefore it seems that there is no other way except for parsing the text.
