Hi Karim,

If you use MS Word 2000 as a default email editor in Outlook 2000, the NewInspector event will not be fired. See the link below:

Ok, it seems now I understand your goal. Try to use the TadxOLInspectorCommandBar.OnBeforeAdd event.

procedure TAddInModule.OnBeforeAdd(CmdBar: TadxOLInspectorCommandBar; Inspector: Outlook2000._Inspector; var Cancel: boolean);
begin
Cancel := Inspector.IsWordMail;
end;

Hi Again,

I am trying to find the OnBeforeAdd event to cancel a commandbar, but cannot find it :oops:.

Has it changed?

Thank you,

Thomas.

I have the latest version 2.3.1754 with Visual Studio .NET 2005.

But I see now that I did not post my question in the correct forum, this is the VCL forum...

But are the event not the same?

Thanks.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Naturally, the ADX VCL edition and ADX NET edition have some difference. Please ask your question on the NET forum.
