Hi!

Is there any way to create add-ins which are compatible to the 64 bit version of Office 2010?

I am currently using ADX 2007 VCL and I have successfully tested add-ins with the 32 bit version of Office 2010 but they are not accepted by the 64 bit version?

Is there any work around or maybe it is possible with ADX 2010?

Hi Stefan,

Unfortunately, because Office 64-bit will not load a 32-bit DLL, it isn't possible.

So is there no way to create 64bit add-ins with ADX (even with ADX 2010 VCL or .NET) or is this just a limitation of older ADX version?

Hi Stefan,

I'm sorry, it isn't possible to create a 64-bit add-in with the VCL edition of Add-in Express since there's no 64-bit version of Delphi compliler. It is possible to create a 64-bit add-in with the .NET edition.
