Hi,

I have the following problem:

Create a new mail add-in with an explorer region docked somewhere.
Register the add-in, start Outlook.
Create a new appointment with a reminder.
Wait for the reminder to popup, close Outlook without closing the reminder.
Result: Outlook crashes.

I found that the problem is in the TExplorer.InvokeEvent.
The FOnActive(Self) is called during the termination of Outlook.

I hope you can find a solution soon, we have a few customers who have this problem.

Hello Ronald,

I'm trying to reproduce the issue. I start Outlook, see the DockLeft form in the Inbox, switch to the Calendar, create an appointment and save it, switch to the Inbox, wait for the reminder, close the upper red cross to close Outlook. Is the sequence correct?

Do you test this on a simple add-in with no code? Are other COM add-ins turned off?

Hi Andrei,

Yes, that's the correct sequence, and yes I test this with a simple add-in with no code.
If I unregistered the simple add-in Outlook will close normally.
The crash only occurs when the simple add-in is loaded.

Due to technical problems with our development environment we won't be able to look in the issue today. Hopefully, we will be able to do this tomorrow. I'll let you know.

The issue is now filed under #8533 in our bug-tracking DB.

Thanks for the update, but I am sorry to tell you that the installer produces an access violation.
Can you please verify the installer and sent me another version or the changed source files.
