Two Excel instances hang

Dear Sirs,

I am not sure if it is my local problem or something broader. When I run second instance of Excel, my add-in makes this instance to hang (constantly redrawing Excel window). W7/64, O2007/32.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Create new ADX COM Add-in (use some defaults).
2) Create single Excel Task Pane, save it.
3) Create ExcelTaskPaneManager and add there this single panel (by assigning TadxExcelTaskPane1 to TaskPaneClassName).
4) Run Excel once.
5) Run Excel second time (leaving running previous instance).

Effect: second instance hangs by constantly redrawing itself (W7/64+O2007/32).

I checked registry to disable any other potential add-ins.

I tried to reproduce it on W7 + O2013 but with no luck.
Is it my only problem or it happends?

We've reproduced the issue. It is now filed under #7705 in our bug-tracking DB. When it is fixed, you'll find this number in whatsnext.txt. We are going to fix it in the next add-in Express build.

Andrei, Thank you for quick response. Could you roughly assess date of next build? I'd like to know if I have to recreate add-in to use standard delphi forms instead of task panes or better wait for solution. The problem would not be as urgent if the excel preview were not start one instance in explorer file preview, then manually running Excel does the same problem (however not at once).

There's a bit of uncertainty on the next build. We will find a way to fix the issue and send it to you in September.
