Is it possible to add an ADX Com AddIn to an existing Delphi project? The project is a service application with one ridl file.

Hi Russell,

It is possible to add the Add-in Express COM Add-in functionality to an existing Delphi project if the project is an ActiveX Library. As far as I understand your current project is an application, i.e. an executable (.exe) rather than a library (.dll). Is it so?

Thanks for your reply Dmitry. The project is a service application, so an EXE not a DLL. SO I gues I cannot use it for an ADX host.

Hi Russell,

Yes, you are right, a COM add-in cannot be implemented as an executable, it should be an ActiveX library (dll).
