How can I compile a smaller sized addin

I have created a simple 64 bit addin that gets some information from selected email and sends it to another application using messages. The project does not contain any visual controls.
Built for Release the addin is almost 8Mb big (and almost twice as big if built for Debugging).

Is it possible to make it any smaller?

You can remove unused references, if any.
