Hi,

I have a strange problem. My client use several office xp sp3 Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 server and plug it works well. But that has changed since Exchange Server 2010 and now button does not work (when clicked on it nothing happens)
And this happens on every client machine.

Have you any idea?


I use Version 6.4 Release (build 758) Add-in Express ™ 2010 for VCL with Delphi 2010

Hi Karim,

You need to start with checking that your add-in is registered and that is loads when Outlook starts.

Hi Andrei,

It's the first thing I checked. I have registered the dll and the dll is load.
The customer does not touch the client (outlook 2003) except to switch the account on the Exchange Server 2010.
7 machines with Outook 2003 SP3 does not work with Exchange 2010 but before, with Exchange 2003 server it worked very well
All machine works with Office 2007 or 2010 with Exchange 2003 or 2010 !

I also use in the Add-ins the "Redemption" component. The problem may be the redemption.

The above means that the button isn't attached to an event handler. Also, an exception can occur in your code. Or, the add-in has fallen into the Disabled Items list. Please check these possibilities.

If the add-in is really okay, you can try installing a test version of the add-in and get more details about the situation.

Hi Andrei ,

I found the problem, the cause is a old version of a plug-in Fax (Zetafax) that was not compatible with Exchange 2010 and disrupted the functioning of my module. Uninstalling plug-in Fax from all outlook client put things in order.
