Outlook 2007 add-in: advanced user interface in less than 10 minutes

The video was captured on Visual Studio .NET 2005 with Add-in Express .NET 3.6 Build 1879 and Outlook 2007 installed on Vista. The video shows how to create a new Outlook add-in project and how to add:

  • New Outlook 2007 add-in solution
  • New command bar to the Outlook Explorer window
  • New button to the command bar
  • New Ribbon tab to the Outlook Inspector window
  • New button to the Office 2007 Ribbon tab
  • New tab to the Tools | Options dialog
  • New tab to the Folder Properties dialog
  • New custom task pane to both Explorer and Inspector windows.

The video shows how to create the user interface of your first Outlook add-in.
